So this week I ran out the door without measurements however, I managed to gain a pound so it's a good thing I got my bum in gear and got to the gym today!!!
I wanted to start off easy but not be crazy so I;
- walked to the gym (5min)
- 1min run and 2 min walk on 2% incline (16 min)
- walked at brisk pace (4 min)
- walked back from the gym (5 min)
- strength/stretching (10 min)
I felt pretty good but my form was terrible and I felt like I hadn't been to the gym in ages. I am going to super stretch my
Achilles and plantar fascia which have been my biggest enemies and what kept me out of the gym for the better part of three months.
So for the rest of the week I am going to try and do a little mix like today of
cardio and stretching/strength just to get myself moving and next week I'll start focusing on building my mileage back up, etc..
